[ HALLOWEEN DESCRIPTION ]
In the basement of the titular Crispy Castle lies a blocked off level gate that has been seemingly abandoned. Peppino, the iconic italian chef decided to bust down the gate and investigate what was in it. What he uncovered was an earlier prototype of the Subway that had been locked away for a while. Now it's his mission to take it down and continue with his journey to save his restaurant once more.
THIS DEMO INCLUDES:
- 1 new level!
- A brand new engine coded from the ground up
- Swappable clothing
- Empanadas

The game is in development and isn't finished, which may result in many of the things listed or appearing in the demo being outdated once the final game releases. We'd love to hear your feedback on what needs fixing, changing, or any related suggestions, so please list them in our Discord.

we’re more familiar with gdevelop than gamemaker, and it’d take us a while to fully learn it

Is there any way to rebind or use a controller? I'm really bugged out having to use Z to jump and the arrow keys to move around.
no controller support yet, but rebinds are on our checklist for v2.
at the moment i’m more focused on the physics and optimization part of the game so lower-end systems don’t have fps problems

review:
an overall very impressive game for gdevelop. i feel as if the level design could be a bit more polished and straight-forward, but that just might be personal preference. i would like the ability to roll, dive, and overall just use the down button, and the ability to climb walls with the x button. i do feel that emporada is a bit ruthless, and the escape sequence could be a bit more tame considering the level design, which is why i died at an s rank and never completed the level. i still really super duper like it and it is incredibly impressive game for gdevelop. best of luck,
